


Taylor Trowbridge comes to Diamond Fever from Houghton College in NY where she dominated the softball field and the classroom until her graduation. With her husband, Taylor has moved to our area and coaches for Diamond Fever and offers one-on-one lessons. Whether you are a Diamond Fever player or not, Taylor is here to help you take your game to the highest level possible.
Taylor graduated with a degree in Biology Pre-Physical Therapy and a minor in psychology and athletic training. On the field, she was a utility player (pitcher, shortstop, second, third base) and earned the following accolades:

9 Houghton Softball records (career marks for runs, hits, RBI, doubles, home runs, walks, batting average, slugging percentage and on-base percentage)

three-time Empire 8 All-Conference selection (2017-19)

twice named to the NCCAA All-Midwest Region Team (2017, 2019)

earned the Velma H.M. Hewson Excellence Award—the highest honor bestowed upon a Houghton female athlete based upon athletic achievements, academic excellence, and a track record of Christian character and service to others
Taylor is currently an assistant coach for the Houghton Softball team and is available for private hitting, fielding, and pitching/catching lessons. As a college coach and private lessons coach, Taylor is well versed in multiple positions at various age/ability levels. Lessons are a unique time for an hour of one-on-one training.
